the emergency number
If you are in danger right now, call this number. Escrow is not an emergency service and cannot send anyone to you.
where to report
Call 999 in an emergency, or call Greater Manchester Police's non-emergency line on 101, or report online at gmp.police.uk. You can also self-refer to Saint Mary's Sexual Assault Referral Centre without talking to police first.
what to bring
No documents or ID are needed to self-refer to Saint Mary's or to make a police report, and you can get care and support without deciding whether to report.
the exam window
Saint Mary's Sexual Assault Referral Centre gives free forensic and medical exams 24 hours a day, for assaults that happened recently or long ago. The centre separates its guidance for cases under 28 days and over 28 days, since evidence collection works differently for each.
the deadline
There is no time limit on reporting rape or sexual assault to Greater Manchester Police, who say they take every report seriously no matter how much time has passed.
support organisations
People near you who do this every day.
These are independent of Escrow. They can sit with you through a report, and they can also just talk.

when you are ready
A report is yours. You can seal it, publish it as a pin, or leave it where it is. Nothing happens until you say so.
