How to report sexual assault in Bangkok
This is what we have read and stored about reporting in Bangkok. Read only the part you need. You do not have to decide anything today.

the emergency number
Call 191 for the Royal Thai Police, 1669 for medical emergency, or 1155 for the Tourist Police if you are a visitor. Call 1300 for the OSCC (One Stop Crisis Centre) social help hotline, run by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, 24 hours a day.

where to report
You can go straight to any police station and give a statement, or go first to the nearest government hospital and ask for the OSCC (One Stop Crisis Centre) desk; the Police General Hospital in Bangkok has an OSCC that will see you without a police referral and can help you make a criminal complaint at the same time. OSCC staff can also connect you with a psychiatrist or social worker. You can request a female or male officer, and ask for an English interpreter if you are not comfortable in Thai.
what to bring
No documents are required to make a report or to be seen at an OSCC. If you have a passport or ID, bringing it helps the paperwork move faster, but a lack of ID should not stop hospital staff or police from helping you.
the exam window
Ask for a medical exam at a government hospital OSCC as soon as possible; try not to shower, change clothes or urinate beforehand if you can, since evidence on your body and clothes can be lost. HIV post-exposure prophylaxis needs to start within 72 hours to work, and emergency contraception is also most effective if taken within 72 hours (it is available over the counter at pharmacies).
the deadline
For most rape cases, you have up to 10 years from the incident to file a criminal complaint with police, under sections 276 and 95(3) of the Thai Penal Code. If the case involves a spouse, or is indecent assault in a private place against someone over 15, the complaint must be filed within 3 months of the incident. Because evidence fades quickly, it is best to report as soon as you are able.
